About This Game Tasty Blue is an underwater side-scrolling eat 'em up game. You start as a small goldfish with an insatiable appetite. After being overfed by your owner, you'll escape into the ocean and eat everything that you encounter. The more you eat, the bigger you get!In addition to the goldfish, you'll also play as a dolphin and a shark. The dolphin starts off as an overworked aquarium star, forced to jump through flaming hoops for food. He escapes from captivity by eating his way through the aquarium and taking revenge on his trainer. My sister and I played Multiplayer, which was a fun experience... until it crashed on us. A.K.A. the pause menu glitching. It was still fun. (besides the fact that the bonus levels are HARD) We still beat it. I loved Tasty Planet - Back for Seconds, Tasty Planet, and now, Tasty Blue. It's definitly worth the 6USD. Or 3.59USD (if the summer-sale is going on.) I 100% reccomend the game. 10/10.. Tasty Blue is a fun game, but it's not as fun as Tasty Planet: Back for Seconds. Tasty Blue is more repetitive and has less variety, and some of the levels are just boring. For instance, some levels require you to just stay in one place and collect things endlessly until the level is finished. That's not fun. In the end, it outstays its welcome, but it's still an alright game. If you want a game where you eat to get bigger, definitely check out Tasty Planet: Back for Seconds first.. This is how I imagine Popcap would design a Katamari clone. It is fast, goofy, has often-questionable hit meshes, even-more-so questionable animal-to-world scales, and it's a lot of fun while it lasts. It is certainly no Katamari, nor shares the polish and budget of a Popcap title, but if you like a game that doesn't take itself seriously, you'll probably like this game.The game is short - I finished in just over 2 hours. It is split into levels which chronicle the lives of three different aquatic animals as they grow to monster sizes. The game really shines when it drops you into a large body of water with a large variety and population of things to eat. This becomes very apparent as soon as you encounter the boring and frustrating oyster levels which there are two of. You'll know what I mean when you get there. There are also bonus levels at the end which offer some more fun after the campaign.If you let yourself just steep in the ridiculousness of this title, you'll surely enjoy it while it lasts. Minor things like keyboard controls, repetitive (but often totally bangin') music, and those goddamn oyster levels might make you want to kill yourself briefly, but that's just a sign you've been playing this game for too long at a time. I finished my 2-hour playthrough in three sittings. If you still want the game at this point, I wholeheartedly recommend it because it's downright fun for the price.. not worth the $7. Pinguins are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s.. Creative game with extremely addictive gameplay. Basically feeding frenzy but with a purpose.. Ok so first off Tasty Blue is really fun. Next this game is pretty addictive. I would give it a try.. This game is fun, it's like Pac Man without the maze...yeah. No seriously, play the game. Once you finish it you'll see what I mean.The controls are pretty simple, you just direct your creature around with your mouse. Keep moving and eating things smaller than your creature and avoid things bigger than your creature. Your creature grows by eating things. Your creature must attain a certain size before completing the level.Pretty simple and fun game.
